Jerry
O. Bush, MD
Ophthalmologist
Dr.
Bush was born in Alabama. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and completed three years of post graduate
work in marine biology at Oregon State University prior to pursuing a medical degree. Dr. Bush obtained his medical degree
from the University of Alabama. He completed his internship at the Baptist Medical Centers in Birmingham, Alabama and his
residency in ophthalmology at the University of Alabama Medical Center and the Eye Foundation Hospital of Alabama. Dr. Bush served one year as the chief of ophthalmology
at the VA Medical Center in Martinez, California, where he taught cataract surgery to senior residents in ophthalmology from
the University of California/Davis residency program. Dr. Bush is certified by the American Board
if Ophthalmology, is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the Mesa County Medical Society. He
serves on the medical staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center and Community Hospital. His professional interests
include small incision cataract surgery and treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Bush’s hobbies include skiing, horseback
riding, hiking, climbing fourteeners and hunting. Dr. Bush is married and has two grown children and three grandchildren.
Gregory E. Kellam, M.D.
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Kellam was born in Wyoming. He earned both
his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. After completing his internship at
Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, he completed his ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University Hospital.
Dr. Kellam joined Western Rockies Eye Center in July 1999. Dr.
Kellam is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology;
the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery; and the American Medical Association. He is a member of the medical
staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center and Community Hospital. Dr. Kellam’s professional interests include; small incision cataract
surgery, eyelid surgery, and medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma. In
his spare time, Dr. Kellam enjoys skiing, hunting, fishing, and restoring antique furniture.
Michael E. Luby, O.D.
Dr. Luby, a native Coloradan,
received his Bachelor’s degree from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado. His Doctor of Optometry was earned through
Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. Dr. Luby is a certified practitioner through the Colorado State Board of Optometry. He is certified in the
application of advanced therapeutics and has a special interest in the fitting of contact lenses. Dr. Luby’s professional memberships include the American Optometric Association and the Colorado
Optometric Association. He is married with two children
and one grandchild and enjoys fishing, skiing, and gardening.
